Change of locations to services in St. Edmund’s Church, Southwold

Posted on by Tania Birtwistle

After the services in church today St Edmund’s will be closed to church members and visitors for at least the next three weeks.  This is because the roof repairs are now nearing completion, and from Monday morning the scaffolding will begin to come down, and the internal partition wall will soon be removed.  The service of Holy Communion on Thursdays 24th September, 1st and 8th of October will now be held in Southwold Methodist Church, by kind permission of the minister and church council.  Our Sunday morning services on Sundays September 27th, October 4th and October 11th will be held in St Edmunds Hall.  Please keep an eye on notice sheets and posters, on the Sole Bay Team Ministry website and St Edmunds facebook page for updates, and for details of church services on October 18th and 25th.

It is good news that the roof restoration is nearing completion, and the PCC is grateful to the contractors for their hard work and skill.  There will obviously be a degree of inconvenience during the next few weeks and your understanding and patience is appreciated.
