Safeguarding Basic Awareness Training: All Servers, Welcomers, Refreshment Helpers, Cleaners, Sidespersons, Flower Arrangers, Bell Ringers, Choir Members, PCC Members, Children and Youth Leaders, Service Leaders. We have been advised by the Diocese that you need to complete the Church of England’s Basic Awareness in Safeguarding Training so that we are compliant with their new Safeguarding requirements. This can be done either online or at a face to face training course in Southwold and Reydon. For online training, http://www.cofesuffolk.org/training#/ Face to face training session, they are 7pm, 17 April in St Edmunds Hall or 7.15pm, 24 April in St Margaret’s Reydon. Holy Trinity, Blythburgh Saturday 28 April at 7pm – An East Anglian Solitude Terry Waite CBE, the former Beirut hostage and Archbishop of Canterbury’s Special Envoy, joins chamber choir Renaissance for a programme of readings from his latest book, Solitude, complemented by music of English Renaissance composers connected to East Anglia – Byrd, Tallis, Gibbons and Morley.
