St Edmunds Re Roofing

Work starts on Tuesday 6th January 2015 to repair the roof at St Edmunds.  This is a major piece of work, costing in excess of £400k.  The work includes replacing the life expired copper roof, removing any rotten timbers, repairs to stonework and improved gutters and drains.  In January scaffolding will be erected inside and outside the church.

During January the church will be closed both for visitors and for worship.

St Edmunds Re Roofing

During January the church will be closed both for visitors and for worship. After January we will move back into church but until the end of September we will only be able to use the south aisle and the Lady Chapel.  Please keep everyone at St Edmunds in your prayers at this time as we look to protect this important building for future generations.

St. Edmund’s congregation are invited to join other services within the Sole Bay Team or the Methodist Church service at 10.30am on the Sunday’s of 18th & 25th.
