Monday 22nd August – ‘A’ Level students from St. John Leman High School, Beccles

Monday 29th August – Victor Scott, Director of Music, St. Edmund’s Southwold, Organist

 

Sunday 21st August – Blythburgh Day Celebration service, 11am at Blythburgh Priory Ruins.

The festivities are centred on the garden of The Priory, by kind invitation of Chiara and Matthew Saunders. The day will start with an open air service in the historic Priory Ruins at 11am led by Revd Malcolm Doney. Events, including the opportunity to take a boat trip on the Reiver Blyth, guided tours of the Priory ruins and a river bank walk, are free and will be held throughout the day following the service until 5pm. There will be a BBQ, live music, licenced bar, soft drinks, tea and coffee.

 

Saturday 27th August at The Angel Inn at 0845 for 0900.The speaker this month is Dr Chris Hopkins talking about Life in Egypt as a child. The cost is £10 for a full English Breakfast and £6 for a Continental Breakfast. All men are welcome to join with the group.
