Led by Rev Simon Pitcher and Sarah Wallington Smith, a former hospice nurse, the afternoon is an opportunity for conversation.  Gravetalk is a Church of England resource that provides questions intended for discussion in small groups of four or five.  It is a chance to talk about death, think about funerals, ask questions, air your thoughts. Palestine of Jesus – Hugh Williamson will lead another Palestine of Jesus pilgrimage at St George’s College in Jerusalem 31 August – 14 September 2020. On this course we visit all the principal sites throughout the land relating to the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus with expert guidance and talks that give more than the usual tourist information about the places in question and their history. When in Jerusalem we join in the regular worship of St George’s Cathedral, and when away from there we meet with local Christian (mainly Anglican) churches to understand better the challenges they face in today’s world. If you are interested in discussing the possibility of joining this pilgrimage, do have an informal word with Hugh at any time (tel: 01502-722319).
