Services will be live streamed via YouTube from St Margaret, Reydon for those continuing to join us from home.

WALK WITH AMAL– The Walk with Amal (the Syrian Refugee Puppet) whose aim is to raise awareness of the plight of child refugees has arrived in the UK and this weekend is in London, prior to her moving through the country this coming week.  Rev. Alan will be joining the group from Monday to Friday and will support the transportation of Amal and the cast over the coming days.  If you would like to sponsor Rev Alan, in support of Hope and Aid Direct please contact him.  Please watch the coverage in the media and share this good news with others.

CLANG FOR CLIMATE CHANGE – On Saturday 30 October at 6pm churches are invited to ring their bells to encourage the participants at COP 26 to make lasting commitments to reduce carbon emissions.  Please listen out for the bells in your parish.  People are also encouraged to make a noise using any metalic objects on their doorstep to mark this moment personally (similar to how the NHS was celebrated during lockdown).

TEAM SERVICE – 31 October, Holy Trinity Blythburgh.  All Souls’ Service, 31 October, St Edmund, Southwold To celebrate All Saints’ Day there will be a Team Service at Holy Trinity, Blythburgh on Sunday 31 October at 11.15am. Our preacher and celebrant will be The Right Reverend Mike Harrison, Bishop of Dunwich.  In the afternoon at 3pm there will be an All Souls’ Service at St Edmund, Southwold at 3pm, when we will especially remember those who have died during this past year.  Please pass any names to be remembered to your Vicar.

Prayer Walking the Holton Labyrinth on 1st November 10.30-12.30 for COP26 Meet 10.30am in St Peter’s Church for an introduction and sharing material to support prayer and meditation. Come with warm, waterproof gear but we’re hoping for good enough weather to walk the Labyrinth individually, as a group, before coming back to share any thoughts, insights, and prayer, followed by light refreshments. The Ladies fellowship will be visiting each church in the Sole Bay Team ministry to pray for each community, church family and individuals. We will meet at 2.30pm on Oct 27 – South Cove         Nov 3 – Reydon        Nov 17 – Wangford       Nov 24 – Walberswick    December 1 – tea and mince pies, Chruch Rooms, Reydon Please join us to pray. Saturday 27th November 11am – 3.30pm – The Blythburgh Church Christmas Market People will gather from far and wide to buy hand crafted seasonal gifts from local producers, refreshment available.  Please do come and visit.

Sole Bay Foodbank – Demand for emergency food parcels is still ongoing especially as Lowestoft Foodbank serves all the towns and villages to the east of the A12 from Lowestoft down to Leiston. There are still some shortages in the Warehouse and the following items would be appreciated; Tinned tomatoes, tinned potatoes, tinned veg, tinned meat, tinned fruit, fruit juice, coffee, tea, & long life (UHT) milk.
