South Cove Flower Festival and Exhibition

Running this weekend until the afternoon of Tuesday 30th July. There will be a tapestry of floral displays and an exhibition in church of ‘all things South Cove. In place of the Meadow Sale, there will be a large Book Sale, a Plant Stall and a Preserve Stall in the marquee. The renowned homemade refreshments, including a range of full cream dairy ice-creams, will be available daily.

 

TONIGHT –  at 7pm  Yalda Davis has very kindly agreed to give a ‘cello recital in church. Refreshments will be served from 6.30p.m. onwards with a Retiring Collection at the end of the evening.

 

50th Anniversary of Uggeshall Teas, this weekend and first weekend of August.

 

BEACH MISSION 29TH JULY – 9TH AUGUST

Please encourage people of all ages to go along to the Beach Mission which has morning, afternoon and evening activities.  Events are free and open to all.  Please pick up a flier at the back of the church or go to the Beach Mission website – Southwoldbeachmission.com

 

Monday 5th August 2019  – St Andrews is holding a cake stall from 9am outside the old Lloyds Bank in the market place Southwold.  If anyone would like to bake a cake please bring it to our stall on the Monday, we will be setting up from 8.30am.

If you don’t have time to bake do come along a buy a cake, look forward to seeing you.

A JAZZ EVENING IN MEMORY OF SIDI SCOTT – SATURDAY 14 SEPTEMBER. ST PETER & ST PAUL, WANGFORD AT 7.30PM

In memory of Sidi, Martin Smith (Sidi’s son in law) and his Jazz Band, the Jazz Goats will be performing in St Peter & St Paul, Wangford on Saturday 14 September.  Tickets including a licensed bar are £10.  All funds raised will go towards the Church Restoration Fund.  Tickets are available now through Southwold Arts Centre (tel: 01502 722572) www.ticketsource.co.uk or Rev Alan.
