Lent Lectures are available to listen online

There will be a special Christian Aid Service and collection at St. Margaret’s Church led by Rev. Alan Perry on Sunday 12th May at 9.30am. All will be most welcome. 

There will be a coffee morning with a cake stall in support of Christian Aid in St Edmund’s Church on Thursday 16 May from 10.45 a.m. onwards. Do come in for a chat and support this worthwhile cause.

George Ives and friends will be performing music by Mozart, Borodin, Richard Strauss and Dvorak. Tickets are £12.50 in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support.  Tickets available from Sue Ives. Contact 578007.


SOLE ENCOUNTER – YOUTH EVENT SATURDAY 8 JUNE ST EDMUND’S CHURCH, SOUTHWOLD. 5-8PM. Young people aged 10-13 or school years (5-8) are invited to come along to enjoy activities including five a side football; art installation; bell ringing; craft; music; drama; Geo-cashing; worship band and BBQ. Parish Giving Scheme Presentation for Waveney & Blyth Deanery on Tuesday, 11TH June at 7.30 pm at Ringsfield Village Hall.  Julie Podd (PGS Adviser) and Lee Jukes (Stewardship Manager) will be visiting our Deanery to launch the PGS at a local level; a direct debit scheme which pays donations directly into your account, run by the PGS charity and supported by our Bishops. The PGS is an efficient way to give directly to your parish.  This is a great opportunity to find out more about the PGS and how it can help improve and sustain your parish finances.  Please email to confirm attendance
