Team News 5 JulyJuly 2, 2020

Sunday 12th July is Sea Sunday and we remember the work of The Mission to Seafarers. Many seafarers have suffered during Covid lockdown, trapped on liners and cargo vessels for months, far from home and loved ones. In Sole Bay we have often observed Sea Sunday in previous years. If anyone would like to celebrate Sea Sunday and support the Mission to Seafarers they are offering a virtual service on their website www.missiontoseafarers.org/sea-sunday on 12th July.
The Government has given permission for church services to resume in July. The Government has issued strict guidelines that we must observe. This announcement is a welcome step, but there is still a long journey ahead. We are planning to gradually re-open our Churches for worship from 12th July – See July Service Pattern and Guidance.
Southwold, Reydon, Uggeshall, Blythburgh, South Cove and Walberswick churches are open for private individual prayer. This is in accordance with the relaxation of Government lockdown regulations.
