with bread and cheese, followed by tea and coffee. Lunches will be served every
Friday from 20 February until 27 March 12.30pm to 2.00pm in St Edmund’s Hall,
Cumberland Rd. Just Drop in! No charge – DONATIONS ONLY
Lent book: Sacred Space for Lent – produced annually by the Irish Jesuits, this small book of daily reflections and prayer will help to guide us through Lent. £3 per copy available in each church.

Our local Women’s World Day of Prayer service will be held for the first time, in over 40 years, at St. Margaret’s church in Reydon on Friday 6 March at 10.30am It is an international and interdenominational service written this year by the Christian women of the Bahamas, and prepared by our local ecumenical team. We welcome men, women and children and are very happy to be able to offer lifts to St. Margaret’s from surrounding villages, plus refreshments from 10am. Please put this date –in your diaries. It will be a short colourful service in the morning, followed by the usual Lent lunch in St. Edmunds Hall, Southwold.
A Reflective Day on Being 50+ is being held on Saturday 18th April at the Chapel of St. Felix’s School, Reydon. Led by Revd. Elizabeth Baxter and Revd. Joan Lyon. This day will provide a relaxed space to share day-to-day and spiritual experience of the life we have been given as it is stretched to new dimensions as we mature. Registration with coffee at 9.30am, finishing at 4pm. The cost of the day is £10 with lunch provided.
