Team Notices 10th May

Posted on by Tania Birtwistle

Saturday 16 May – Intermedii, the Choral Group from Luxembourg, is making their third visit to Suffolk to give us a concert in the Wangford Church on at 7.30pm.  They obviously love singing together – their enthusiasm is infectious – their quality stunning – the range of music ancient and modern, sacred and secular. Don’t miss them this time round.  Tickets at the door – donations for concert and refreshments in aid of Wangford Church.

From 16 May – 31 May Speak of Angels, an exhibition of sculptural angels, boats, prints and drawings will fill Holy Trinity, Blythburgh.  Opens 11am on 16th May and then daily 9am to 6pm.

Tea Dance on Friday afternoons of May 15th & June 12th 2.30 – 4.30pm.  Ticket £3 (available on the door) including tea, biscuits & cakes. Great fun.  In aid of St Edmund’s Hall

Sunday 31st May is Trinity Sunday and Blythburgh Church’s Patronal Festival.  The Team service of Holy Communion will be hosted here at 11am with guest preacher, Revd Wendy Gourlay.  The service will be followed by a light lunch and an opportunity to tour the exhibition with the artist.  Everybody is welcome as part of our Friends of Blythburgh Day.

Open to all – Waveney & Blyth Deanery Wider Chapter event takes place on Tuesday 23rd June 7.30pm at Reydon Church. The Revd David Messer will be with us to share about the work of the United Society (formerly USPG); they work with Anglican Churches in over 50 countries, helping to support healthcare, education, leadership training and action for social justice. Refreshments on arrival.
