Tuesday 16 May Holy Communion Service, 6.30pm at St. Margaret’s, Reydon is cancelled. 

Will resume again on 23 May.

 

LADIES BIBLE GROUP, meeting every Wednesday at 2pm in St.Andrews Church Walberswick.

Starting: Wednesday 10th May for 6 weeks.Exploring: ‘Talking with God’

All ladies welcome, the more the merrier, no need to ‘book’ a place! Tea provided.

 

Christians Together will be holding a cake stall in aid of Christian Aid, on Thursday 18th May outside Lloyds bank from 9.00am 12 noon please support this event.

 

Foodbank; Donations are still required by Foodbank especially supplies of fruit juice, UHT milk and tinned tomatoes. Donations may be made at The Library, St. Edmunds Church, St Margaret’s Church, The Sacred Heart, and on Sunday mornings at The Methodist Church and United Reformed Church.

 

Friends of Holy Trinity Blythburgh – Open day 2017 Saturday 20 May, 2.00-4.30pm Two very special speakers will be giving lectures: Michael Rimmer, on The Angel Roofs of East Anglia, and Alan Mackley on the Restoration of Blythburgh Church 1881-1906. Both talks will be based on the speaker’s recent books. Tea and cake will be served. All are welcome!

 

Team Ascension Day ServiceHoly Trinity Church, Blythburgh, Thursday 25 May at 7.30pm

Please come and support this service which marks the triumphal conclusion of the Easter Season.

 

Revd. Alan, the Team Vicar’s Pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela 27 May – 3 June 2017 He aims to walk about 12 miles a day for six days. Support Reverend Alan, the churches where Alan is the Team Vicar and also for the people of Kagera in Tanzania. Concert in St. Margaret’s Church, with Blyth Five, Wednesday, 28th June.  This will be the final concert ever performed by Blyth Five.  More details to follow.

 

Saturday 22 July at 7.30pm “Jazz in the Nave” S. Peter & S. Paul, Wangford

The Jazz Band ‘Cool Blue’ are going to be playing two hours of Jazz in our church in Wangford. There will be a 30 minute interval to get drinks from The Angel.  All profits will go to Wangford Church. Tickets are £10 and are available from Rev Alan or the Churchwardens in Wangford. Please ring Alan or the churchwardens if you require tickets.
