Congratulations from all in the Sole Bay Team to Alison Evans for the wonderful news that she has been awarded a British Empire Medal in the New Year honours for service to the community
Foodbank – Thank you to everyone who has continued to donate to the Foodbank. It does still operate in our district run at present by Access Community Trust who are very grateful for our continued support, so please do continue to supply non perishable in date goods, donations can be made at all the local churches or Library. Ladies Fellowship- We meet again on Wednesday 17th January at 2pm in St Andrew’s church Walberswick. We are starting the year looking at The Lord’s Prayer, using the booklets from the Pilgrim course by The Church of England. All are most welcome, no sign up necessary.

Wangford Men’s Breakfast 9am, Saturday January 27th at The Angel Inn in Wangford.
When Vanessa Tucker and Elaine Heeler from the Valley Farm Vineyard at Wissett will give a power point presentation about their vineyard and offer tastings of two of their wines.The cost is £10 for a full English Breakfast, £6 for a continental. All men are welcome. Contact Bernard on 01502 578766
3 February 2018 at 7pm – A dramatic presentation of The Gospel of Mark. St Peter and St Paul, Wangford. Please put this date in your diary and come and support us. Toilets are now available at the church. Parking is available outside the church but also in Wangford Community Centre. Admission Free
Christingle for Candlemas 4th February at 4pm
All welcome to join us at St Margaret, Reydon for our Candlemas Christingle. All songs will be led by our worship Band. Collecting boxes are available on behalf of the Children’s Society and should be returned during the service. All Welcome.

The Southwold Passion– a Passion Play for Southwold
Performed by members of the local community and supported by The Sole Bay Team of Churches.
Monday 26 March at 7pm, Tuesday 27 March at 2.30pm, Wednesday 28 March at 7pm
The play begins on St. Bartholomew Green in Southwold and then moves into St Edmund’s Church.
The Audience will promenade, apart from those who will find this physically challenging.
The performance on 27 March is designed for those who will find the play’s different locations a challenge. Tickets £10 for adults and £8 for children.
