FAITH CONFIRMED Confirmation marks the point in the Christian journey at which you affirm for yourself the faith into which you have been baptised and your intention to live a life of committed discipleship. This affirmation is confirmed through prayer and the laying-on of hands by the confirming bishop. The Church also asks God to give you power through the Holy Spirit to enable you to live in the way of Jesus. There will be a Deanery Confirmation Service with Bishop Martin on Sunday 20 September. There will be a preparation course for candidates over the summer months. If you would like to be Confirmed, or want to know more about Confirmation, then please speak to any of the team clergy.

The group has been running since the beginning of 2015 and each month we focus on an article, bible study, book or video which we reflect upon together, leaving plenty of time to chat about any other issues we may have.

For the next 6 months the group will be looking at Rick Warren’s “A Purpose Driven Life”
