Advent Study Group starting in November: You are invited to join a four week study group looking at St Luke’s Gospel. One group will be led by Rev Simon Pitcher, meeting at Southwold Vicarage at 2pm on Tuesday afternoons, 17th and 24th November and 1st and 8th of December. The second group will be led by Ann Pooley and Jane Ackroyd meeting at Jane’s house, 7 Hotson Road at 3pm on Wednesdays 18th and 25th November, and 2nd and 9th of December. Friday 20th November, St. Edmund’s, Southwold celebrates St. Edmund’s Day with a service and sticky buns 2.30pm. All welcome to attend.
Saturday 21st November, 11am to 4pm Christmas Market at Millennium Hall, Southwold – in aid of the Loft Youth Centre.

Saturday 28 November Blythburgh Christmas Market– back by popular request! from noon to 4pm in the Church. Gift stalls, mulled wine, soup, BBQ, carol singing.
Saturday 28 November, Jolly Holly Berry, evening of music, entertainment and supper with Sidi and friends; 7pm for 7.30 in the Community Centre. Tickets £8 must be bought in advance from the Village Stores. There will be a pay bar. In aid of the Wangford Church Tower Repair Project.
TEAM Advent Service will be held Sunday 29th November, 11am at St. Andrew’s, Walberswick. There will also be an Advent Carol Service at 6pm in St. Edmund’s, Southwold.
SOUTHWOLD CONCERT SERIES celebrates Christmas, the re-opening of St. Edmund’s, and the launch of the new Southwold Music Trust, with a concert entitled ‘Deo Gracias!’ by Suffolk-based vocal ensemble Seraphim, with Anna Noakes (flute) and Gabriella dell’Olio (harp) on Saturday, 5th December A reception will be held before the concert at 6.30 p.m. in St. Edmund’s Hall, to which all are most welcome, before the concert in the Church at 7.30 p.m. Advance booking is advised – box office firstname.lastname@example.org or 01502 726161.
