Hustings – Voters from the Suffolk Coastal constituency are invited to attend an Election Forum on Sunday 19th April at 6pm in St. Edmund’s Hall, Southwold.  You will be given the opportunity to quiz your Parliamentary Candidates face-to-face in the run-up to the election.  Potential Parliamentary Candidates who will be present are:-

Therese Coffey (Conservative), Russell Whiting (Labour), James Sandbach (Liberal Democrats), Rachel Smith-Lyte (Green), Daryll Pitcher (UKIP)

Christians Together in Southwold & District are hosting an Alpha course starting Wednesday 22 April 7.15pm at St.Margaret’s Church, Reydon (The first evening includes a meal).

The Alpha Course is a 10 week practical introduction to the Christian faith.  It is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun way. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything.

Saturday 25 April 9am-12noon. Lots of jobs to be done inside and out. Bring your tools, cleaning equipment and muck in! Coffee and cake provided.


CHRISTIAN AID WEEK IN REYDON: This year, Christain Aid Week will be from 10th  to 16th  May.  As in previous years we will be holding a house to house street collection in Reydon. Saturday 16 May – Intermedii, the Choral Group from Luxembourg, is making their third visit to Suffolk to give us a concert in the Wangford Church on at 7.30pm.  They obviously love singing together – their enthusiasm is infectious – their quality stunning – the range of music ancient and modern, sacred and secular.Don’t miss them this time round.  Tickets at the door – donations for concert and refreshments in aid of Wangford Church.
