Growing in God – The Diocesan Vision for Growth Team are holding a Growing for God Roadshow at St. Luke’s Church, Beccles at 3pm on Sunday 19th October.  All are most welcome to attend.

Autumn Fayre at St. Edmund’s Hall, Southwold on Saturday 25th October 10am to 2.30pm.  Bric-a-brac, books, craft, refreshments and baking competition.  Please do come along and support or donate items (these can be left in the back of your church, marked Autumn Fayre)– all proceeds to Mission Agencies.

Please being along your tray bakes for the baking competition in the morning.


SERVICE OF LIGHT, Wangford Church, Sunday 26th October at 6.00pm

This year our service to re-dedicate the floodlighting of Wangford Church will commemorate the start of World War 1 in hymns, readings and music. Our guest speaker is John Farmer, CBE,the immediate past National Chairman of the Royal British Legion. Mr Farmer served in the British Army from 1958 until 1965, in Malaya, Singapore, Northern Ireland and Cyprus.



Thursday 30 October & Friday 31 October 2-4pm at Holy Trinity Church Blythburgh

For children aged 4-11 (under 4s welcome but must be accompanied by an adult) £1 per child per session.  The afternoons will include; games, craft, stories, worship & reflection, as we explore the theme of ‘Saints and Angels’. Registration forms are available from Team Clergy, with poster and flyers in all churches.


ST. MARGARET’S AUTUMN QUIZ NIGHT In aid of St. Margaret’s Church on Saturday  

1 November at 7pm in Reydon Village Hall. Teams of up to six people at £7.50 per head, including supper. Please bring your own drink and glasses. Phone Sarah Britten on 724617 to book your team in. Plus if you can donate a raffle prize please hand it to Sarah Britten or Revd Rich.


Sunday 2 November – Our Team All Souls Service, 3pm at St. Peter & St. Paul, Wangford.

This is an opportunity for all those would like to remember loved ones who have passed away to pray and to remember.  Names of many are read out, and there is an opportunity for everyone to light a candle.  Please do come.  Everyone is welcome, those with faith, and those with none, to find some peace, reassurance and comfort in remembering and giving thanks.


Diocese Centenary Celebration Service Sunday 23rd November, 3.30pm at The Cathedral to give thanks for the many celebrations over the past year – all are most welcome to attend.


ADVENT at the Cathedral

St.Margaret’s Reydon are planning a coach trip to the Cathedral to take part in the Advent Carol service and procession on Sunday 30 November. The service starts at 5pm and we will allow time for travel and refreshments beforehand. 

Pick-up points and times are-

2.00pm Reydon Church car park

2.10pm Wangford end of High Street (just before A12)

2.20pm Blythburgh bus stop

The cost is £8 per person (to be paid on the day) and includes the coach travel and refreshments at the Cathedral on arrival.
