August 16, 2017Wangford Men’s Breakfast Group August. Saturday August 26th Elona Rogers – The Strickland Sisters and Reydon HallMeetings start at 0845 for 0900, the Angel Inn, Wangford. The charge is £10 for the Full English and £6 for a Continental Breakfast. All men are welcome to attend, please let Bernard know 01502 578766 by the previous Thursday if you are intending to join us.
The Plough at Wangford are holding a Quiz night on Sunday, 27th August at 8.pm.
Cost £2 per head. It will be informal and no need to book or make up teams of a specific number, everyone welcome, just turn up. Proceeds to Wangford Church .

The gospel of MARK – a dramatic retelling of the complete Gospel of Mark
devised & performed by Rev’d Ian Birkinshaw. Admission free
Safeguarding Level 2 training, St Luke’s Church, 61 Rigbourne Hill, Beccles NR34 9JQ, Monday 25th September, 6.30 – 9.30 pm. If you haven’t completed training in the last three years, you may like to sign up for this. It will be the last Level 2 training available locally before the system changes, so it could be a particularly good time to do it. It will be valid until September 2020. It is easy to

For everyone who knows and cares for someone with dementia
The SPECAL® method offers a simple way of understanding how dementia is experienced by the person with the condition.
This short presentation shows how the introduction of simple SPECAL skills can change life for the better for the person with dementia and everyone concerned with their well-being.
