Beach Service – Southwold. There will be a short Easter morning service at 7.00 a.m. in the shelter on the cliff overlooking the sea between the lighthouse and the pier. It lasts about half an hour (hymns, readings, prayers and very brief reflection), so as to allow plenty of time to get to an 8.00 a.m. service in church.
Farewell Bishop David
All are invited to Evensong at St Edmundsbury Cathedral on Easter Sunday, 5 April, at 3.30pm where we will be saying a fond farewell to Bishop David and Jean as they return to Ely. This will be an opportunity for us to thank Bishop David for all he has done for our diocese during his time as Acting Bishop.
A Reflective Day on Being 50+ is being held on Saturday 18th April at the Chapel of St. Felix’s School, Reydon. Led by Revd. Elizabeth Baxter and Revd. Joan Lyon. This day will provide a relaxed space to share day-to-day and spiritual experience of the life we have been given as it is stretched to new dimensions as we mature. Registration with coffee at 9.30am, finishing at 4pm. The cost of the day is £10 with lunch provided. Hustings – Voters from the Suffolk Coastal constituency are invited to attend an Election Forum on Sunday 19th April at 6pm in St. Edmund’s Hall, Southwold. You will be given the opportunity to quiz your Parliamentary Candidates face-to-face in the run-up to the election. Potential Parliamentary Candidates who will be present are:-

Christians Together in Southwold & District are hosting an Alpha course starting Wednesday 22 April 7.15pm at St.Margaret’s Church, Reydon (The first evening will include a meal).
The Alpha Course is a 10 week practical introduction to the Christian faith. It is an opportunity to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun way. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile. Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything.
