Thank you to all those who filled a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child. A total of 155 boxes were collected from the Team Churches, the URC and the Cubs.

 

 

A Quiet Preparation for Advent

Each Tuesday in Advent at 6.30pm in St Margaret’s Reydon, Simon and Alan will be leading a meditative communion service on the theme of Waiting and Hoping. All welcome.

 

Carol Services

Sunday 11 December  – 3pm Carol Service at St. Lawrence’s, South Cove

Saturday 17 December – 5.30pm at Holy Trinity, Blythburgh

Sunday 18 December – 6pm Carol Services at St. Margaret’s, Reydon and St. Edmund’s, Southwold

 

Team Party – There will be a Sole Bay Team party on Friday 13th January in St Edmunds Hall, 7.00 for 7.30.  Please put the date in your diaries and further details will follow on pew sheets.

MUSIC at ST MARGARET’S  Advance notice!  The Blyth Five Singers will be performing a fund-raising concert for us on Sunday, 22nd January at 3pm.  Tickets available in the New Year from Sarah Britten, £7.50 in advance, £8.00 on the door.

 

Those of us who went by coach to Otley Hall for a presentation about  Talitha Koum ,the charity that was set up after the murders of five young women in Ipswich, may be interested to hear that the Official opening of the premises they have built, was on Wednesday of last week.   T K as it is known, reach out to women struggling with addictions and offer practical help and support.  Many congratulations to everybody concerned in bringing this dream to fruition.
