Tools with a Mission

Posted on by Tania Birtwistle

Holy Trinity Blythburgh have chosen Tools with a Mission (TWAM) as their charity to be supported at Harvest-tide this year. Mike Griffin from TWAM will speak about their work at the 11am Harvest Festival service on 20th September.

TWAM collect and refurbish tools and other equipment to send overseas to enable people to earn a living and support themselves. The sort of things they are looking for are handtools of all kinds, sewing machines, and computer equipment. For a full list of items that can be accepted, as well as details of TWAM’s work, see www.twam.co.uk. We are hoping to make this a Team-wide collection: please bring any items to Holy Trinity from Monday 14 to Monday 21 September and leave them around the font, or ring 01502 478314 to arrange collection. Thank you in anticipation! Jenny Allen jennyanddick@aol.com
