St Lawrence’s Church, South Cove
St. Lawrence, South Cove is a lovely little thatched Suffolk church, whose origins go back to the late Saxon period.
St. Lawrence, South Cove, origins go back to the late Saxon period (circa 1000 AD), with the chancel added in 1240 and a 14th century tower added later. Look out for the figure of St. Michael painted onto the rood loft doorway.
Weekly events and services
We offer a wide range of services from informal and child friendly with a wide selection of contemporary music with piano and band to more formal Eucharist and Book of Common prayer services.

Services of Remembrance will take place across the team on Sunday 9th November at 10:50 and 6:00pm at Uggeshall.
Tuesday 11th November - 10:50am
On Tuesday 11th November, the Town Council also invites you to join them at the War memorial in Southwold at 10:50am. A two minutes silence will be observed at 11am.
You are invited to plant a cross in tribute and remembrance.
